This year, the Trojan Booster Club will once again award scholarships to senior athletes in recognition of their sportsmanship and citizenship demonstrated at Downers Grove North High School. Because of your parents’ membership in the Trojan Booster Club, you are eligible to apply for one of these scholarships.
In recognition of our athletes’ commitment to DGN, the Downers Grove North Trojan Boosters Club will be awarding several scholarships to our 2025 graduating seniors at the spring Senior Awards Night on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
Each recipient will receive a one-time award to be applied towards their college education. The disbursement will be made in accordance with the school’s direction of the school being attended; taking into consideration any possible application of NCAA rules and regulations concerning intercollegiate eligibility.
Eligibility Criteria
Student must be a graduating senior and have participated in at least one season of athletic competition as an athlete or a manager.
Student must not be receiving a full athletic scholarship to a post-secondary institution.
Student’s parent or guardian must be a paid member of the DGN Trojan Boosters by the application deadline of Friday, February 28, 2025.
Application Guidelines
All required fields must be filled out. If the athlete did not participate in a sport during a season, select None.
Answers for the free response questions should be kept brief.
Essay should not exceed 500 words. Do not include your name within the body of the essay itself.
Essay should be a Google Doc, named with the first and last name of the student.
Applications will not be accepted after Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:59 PM.
Our scholarship committee, comprising Trojan Booster Club parents, will review applications and make final selections. Scholarships will be presented on Senior Awards Night, scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Your support of the Trojan Booster Club has made these scholarships possible.
